BEFORE / AFTER

BEFORE — ORIGINAL

AFTER — FINAL COLOR GRADE

COLOR BREAKDOWN

LIGHT

Exposure, highlights, shadows and contrast were refined to hold detail in the sky while allowing the scene to settle into a softer tonal range.

COLOR

The blue sky, pink blossoms and neutral architectural tones were shaped into a balanced relationship without losing the quiet color of the original scene.

MOOD

The final grade is calm, cinematic and slightly nostalgic—preserving the feeling of an unhurried afternoon in Otaru.

Process

Corve adjustment

My habit is that i always start with curve tool.

FINAL FRAME

Finding quiet moments in familiar places.
